This 100% online Youth Mental Health Support course is designed to build awareness, confidence, and practical skills to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
Young people face a wide range of challenges as they grow, from social pressures and school stress to more complex mental health concerns. This course helps participants understand what those challenges can look like, how they may present, and what to do when something does not feel right.
Whether you are a parent, teacher, coach, peer, or community leader, you will gain the knowledge and tools to recognise early signs of mental health concerns and respond in a way that is calm, supportive, and appropriate. The course focuses on real world situations, helping you feel more confident to step in, start a conversation, and provide initial support.
You will also learn how to approach young people with empathy, build trust, and create a safe environment where they feel heard and supported. Guidance is provided on when and how to seek additional help, ensuring young people are connected with the right support services when needed.
This course goes beyond awareness. It is about giving you the confidence to take action, reduce stigma, and play a positive role in the lives of young people.
Because the right support at the right time can make a lasting difference.
